Last updated: 2 October 2026 These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you use the Tradie Market mobile app and related services (the “Platform”). Tradie Market is a listing and matching marketplace for customers and tradespeople in Australia. By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines and our Privacy Policy. This is product copy for the app, not a substitute for independent legal advice. 1. Who we are and what we do Tradie Market helps customers find tradies and helps tradies list their business so they can be found. We provide: • tradie profiles and category search; • quotation requests; and • in-app messaging so the parties can introduce themselves. We are not a party to any job. We do not employ tradies. We do not quote, price, invoice, collect, hold, refund or guarantee payment for work. Any fee, deposit, cash, bank transfer or other payment for services is solely between the customer and the tradie. We are not responsible for conversations, negotiations, quotations, photos, advice or agreements exchanged in chat or off the Platform. Those communications are between the users. A Tradie Market Pro subscription (if offered) is a listing fee paid to us so a tradie can appear in search. It is not payment for any trade job. 2. Eligibility You must be 18 or over. If you list a business you confirm you are authorised to represent it. We may refuse, suspend or close an account if we reasonably consider your conduct harms other users or the Platform. 3. Accounts Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share, sell or transfer it. Keep your profile information accurate and up to date. 4. Customers You are responsible for describing your job clearly, checking licences, insurance and references, and deciding who to hire. Any contract for works is between you and the tradie. Tradie Market does not supervise the work and does not warrant that a tradie is suitable, licensed or insured for your job. 5. Tradies You must hold any licence, registration, insurance and right to work required for the services you offer. You must comply with tax and consumer law. Listing on Tradie Market does not mean we have verified your credentials beyond any review process we choose to run. You must not mislead customers about qualifications, availability or price. 6. No responsibility for money or messages To the extent permitted by law, Tradie Market is not liable for: • unpaid invoices, disputed deposits, cash jobs or refunds between users; • the content of in-app messages, quotations or off-platform contact; • quality, delay, damage, injury or loss arising from work arranged through the Platform; • users taking conversations or payments outside the app. If a dispute arises, you must resolve it with the other party. We may, but are not obliged to, review reports and suspend accounts. 7. Acceptable use You must not post false, illegal, defamatory, harassing or obscene content; spam; malware; or another person’s personal details in public listings. Do not use the Platform to discriminate unlawfully. We may remove content or cancel accounts for breach. 8. Content licence You grant Tradie Market a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and adapt content you upload (including photos and business descriptions) to operate and promote the Platform. 9. Fees we charge Creating a customer account is free. Tradies may be charged a subscription to stay listed. Those fees are separate from any amount a customer pays a tradie for work. Subscription billing (including App Store charges) is described at purchase time. 10. Australian Consumer Law Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you cannot exclude under the Australian Consumer Law. Apart from those non-excludable rights, the Platform is provided as is, without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. 11. Changes We may update these Terms in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. 12.
